Cooling Down At The Water Park

As the school ended last Wednesday, so the Water Park finally open it’s door for sweating kids and of course, my boys wouldn’t want to wait for another day to visit it. So I took them there last Wednesday afternoon,stayed there for more than two hours in which doesn’t seem enough for them though. I’m just glad I brought a book with me and my Eyesave designer reading glasses so I could read while they are having fun in the water spray.

Since there’s not much kid yet,I let Patrick have fun with his bike.Even Kendrick who is not so much fond of water couldn’t take the heat anymore and enjoyed it as well;

The nearby pool is not open yet, maybe next week and my boys are already looking forward to it.

OWM#56 & PBW#36:Snowy Day

It was snowing like crazy since this morning, the boys got bored playing with their electronic games, when they asked me if they could play outside to play in the snow, I was like, why not, since it;ll be like this for a while until Monday according to the weather forecast, might as well make something fun out of it.

They want to make a big Snowman, I’m not sure if they have enough snow, but i’m sure there will be later.

Busy Bee

I was off from work for quite a while, well…last week of November was because of the US Thanksgiving, then a week after that, the plant was not that busy, and there’s only few lines that was open, then this week, I only work last Wednesday. I don’t mind getting all this days off because it’s getting very cold each day anyway and all I want is to stay home,be warm and cozy.Plus it gives me an opportunity to finish all my responsibilities at church because this Sunday, we will be having an Ecumenical Inter-Faith Service again and I was assign to make all the letters of invitation. Then, there’s all the online tasks that’s been waiting on my dashboard, which reminds me I need to finish the whirlpools review sooner.

The boys are busy as well, Patrick have his drum practice each week while Kendrick have his Tagalog lesson each Saturday, they will be having their Christmas Party this Monday.

I’m glad that it’s already December and I’m so excited to start another year. :yes:

Edited**After posting this,I got called to work tomorrow and on Sunday. :D

Family Game Night

Since we got the Wii last week, the boys never stop playing with it, well, at least for the weekend that is. both of them come up with the idea of doing it each Saturday and call it Family Game Night since they are only allowed to use it every weekend when there’s no school. Even hubby enjoy playing golf,too bad Patrick beat him on it,even with bowling :D . I did enjoy playing Tennis too,although my arms hurt after only one game.

Out of so many game console that we had, this is the one that I don’t mind the boys playing all day because of the physical interaction. I think,if I play Tennis at least thrice a week, I don’t need to take phenphedrine anymore or any kind of diet pills for that matter,the physical activitiy involved in each game is enough to shred all the fat I have in my body.

I’m thinking of saving up for the Wii Fit game though :yes:

GT#25: Black Is Beautiful

Contrary to the previous three colors, BLACK is one of the dominant colors in my closet. It was said that Black is the new Pink. I think I have at least 4 tops and a couple of pants in black. You can’t really go wrong with black because you can easily pair it with any color and still look beautiful. According to some Fashionista guru, every woman need to have one Little Black Dress. :yes: Here’s a couple of black things I owned aside from clothes.

My LG cellphone from hubby,he gave it to me because he doesn’t like the style, he preferred the flip type;

my sunglasses and my DSLR remote control;

and the last but not the least, My (little) Men In Black!

OWM#39:Spray Water Park

As summer is fast approaching, we already feel the heat and we try our best to find ways to keep ourselves cool. Luckily, Water Parks and Pool are only less than 10 minutes drive from our place. We can actually walk going there but with the scorching heat :sun: , there’s no way I will take chances, especially with Kendrick who turn as red as a copper whenever he stay under the sun for a long time, while Patrick will sweat like a pig in a roasting bamboo :D . So anyway, last Wednesday was the first time that the weather turn in the high 80′s and we decided to go there and let the boys enjoy the cool water.

No Kendrick in the pictures because he prefered to play in the playground with the sand, no ME in the pictures because I’m the one who took the photos,although I went for a few times but the water is too cold for me to stay but Patrick loves it! :yes:

Whenever there’s an opportunity, like a warm weather for example,I always make it a point to take the boys to the park or at the playground. Even though there’s a playground nearby,we usually take a walk around the neighborhood as my way of spending time with them since they were off from school from 3pm onwards and daylight is kinda long during this season. Last Wednesday, after school, I gather both of them and we went to the park near their school. We’ve seen that area before and they both saw the li’l playground there. I let them play while,of course, taking pictures along the way :camera:

They love the idea of having the playground all by themselves :yes: .

OWM#36:Our Saturday Walk

We pretty much have a very busy weekend. This morning, my husband and my son,Patrick went fishing together while Kendrick and I stayed home. About 2pm the weather seems so warm to me and I asked him if he want to take a walk with me going to the grocery store. I told him we will just walk because the weather is so wonderful and I also decided to take my camera with me. So before we finally head out, I ask him to make a pose for me;

He love picking up those Dandelions,he called them a wish Flower, here on this picture,he’s whispering his wish before finally blowing it like a candle cake and watch those li’l piece goes into thin air;

We are almost close to the store when he told me he is tired and want to take a break from walking, :D

There’s our Saturday afternoon, later on we will go to a friend’s house who invited us for an afternoon barbecue party, hopefully the weather stay as it is right now (75 degrees) so we can enjoy it without the rain. :yes:

OWM#34:A Warm Afternoon

Last week,we were blessed with a warm afternoon weekend and we took the opportunity to explored the new neigborhood. We were planning to do the same thing today, to take a walk along The River while hubby will do some fishing along the board walk, but looks like God have a different plan and He gave us a gloomy weather today instead. So I have decided,I will post our pictures from last week that I nver posted yet. My two boys playing with the water;

Another reason why sometimes,I want to believed that people are from :monkey: , because whenever my boys see something like this, they are always itching to climb it :D

I know I said it was a warm weather, but you see me here wearing a coat, well, it is warm for the boys but knowing me,I always feel cold :D

OWM#33: Our New Home

I was absent last week because we were busy moving our stuff to our new house. We’ve been planning about that move for quite a while and we finally got the go from the housing manager,we started packing our things and we did try to keep our old apartment as clean as possible so we don’t have to do everything in one day.

Anyway, I certainly like our new place. Our old apartment is ok, but the thing is, it’s not big enough for us and also it’s too far from hubby’s work. It took him at least 30 – 40 minutes of driving just to go to work while now, it’s only 15 minutes away.

Our new house, it’s a townhouse unit actually, is not that big either but with a decent size. See, when we moved here in Canada, we didn’t bring everything aside from our personal stuff. We literally have to start all over again.Even our van, we decided to get rid of it because doing the importation papers that the immigration required from us is too much of work to do,so we decided to sell it and just get another car here,plus hubby is having a hardtime with the dashboard anyway, since here, they are using km not mile, everything is totally new for both of us.

Here in this post,I only want to share the my favorite spot :D. Just the li’l kitchen and our li’l living room;

The unit was totally empty,as in bare,appliances are not included,so we have to get everything on our own, unlike our old apartment which was fully furnished.

Here’s the living room,I took it this morning,yeah, that’s Kendrick’s pancake on the coffee table :D

I’m not the only one that is happy with this new house actually, even the boys because now, they have their own bedroom, they just don’t want me to take a picture of it :D
