Cooling Down At The Water Park

As the school ended last Wednesday, so the Water Park finally open it’s door for sweating kids and of course, my boys wouldn’t want to wait for another day to visit it. So I took them there last Wednesday afternoon,stayed there for more than two hours in which doesn’t seem enough for them though. I’m just glad I brought a book with me and my Eyesave designer reading glasses so I could read while they are having fun in the water spray.

Since there’s not much kid yet,I let Patrick have fun with his bike.Even Kendrick who is not so much fond of water couldn’t take the heat anymore and enjoyed it as well;

The nearby pool is not open yet, maybe next week and my boys are already looking forward to it.

Since our summer in my neck of the woods is not until July, it means my latest summer pic was from last year,which by the way, I’m sure most of you have seen like a hundred times posted simultaneously in my blogs which only means,I do not need to create a long introduction, just simply re post the pics. :) .

We enjoyed not only our food, but also the view of Niagara Falls. :)

—I’m talking about vacation. As in I want to go now. Unfortunately I can’t , at least yet. Well, Patricks’ vacation in school is still a month away that’s why. I just thought that it’s not bad to wish for one, although I’m not really dreaming for a beach vacation but rather a vegas kind of vacation. When we went to casino last week to accompany my in-laws, it brings me back the memory of my first visit in Las Vegas, I was 7 months pregnant then and I feel like I didn’t enjoy it very much because of my condition, but at least I’ve got a glimpse of the Sahara hotel when my Aunt decided to eat dinner. Another thing I truly regret was I don’t have any :camera: with me.

Road Trip!

. . .my in-laws that is. They just left 30 minutes ago and it’ll take them at least 2 and a half hours to drive going back to Ohio, yeah, that’s how far we are from them. Sometimes it still amazed me that it’s only takes a few hours to go to US if we want, unlike when I was in the Philippines, it feels like it’s a million miles away but not here in Canada, of course, it depends where you live in , it’s just happen that we live close to the border of both countries, unfortunately, on their next visit, they need to have a passport ,birth certificate and driver’s license are not enough anymore for them to come here, actually it’s not the Canada that change the law, but the US immigration, they want everyone that going in and out of the country to have a passport either you travel by air or road. Anyway, after two days of eating more than the usual, it’s time to read diet pill reviews and figure out what’s the best pill to take to shed off those unwanted weight, just hoping that I didn’t gain any, but it’s better to be prepared and informed.

Ready For The Easter Bunny!

—–The boys got so excited today when we gave them their materials to decorate the eggs for the Easter Bunny, we told them to make it pretty and colorful so the Bunny will give them the most candies this Sunday. We will also going for an egg hunt this Saturday courtesy of this town. We were thinking of making our own egg hunt in our backyard since our neighbor help us to move our van a little bit from where it was before, since we are not using it anymore for a long time, the battery got dead on it and my husband tried to turn it on but it won’t budged, we need an extra help, luckily, he knew someone that own something like automotive lifts but instead of lifting, what it does is to pull the van,so now we have more space where we parked our car and there’s extra more. We will see about, but for now, look what they did to the eggs,

In the Philippines, Holy Week is a big event, most of the family take this opportunity to meditate, visiting churches called “Bisita Iglesia” , others choose to take the chance of going back to their hometown and spend time with their love ones or going to the beach to beat the scorching sun assuming they are not that religous. As for us,here, we have no specific plans yet, but we are thinking of going on a road trip, husband already check some places that we might go just in case we get bored at home and decide to hit the road. :car:

Road Trip

—-We went to a Filipino restaurant today. I finally convinced my husband to eat there because it’s been a while since our last visit. I ordered my favorite Kare-kare (Beef Stew w/ Peanut Sauce) and Tokwa’t Baboy ( Fried Pork and Tofu with vinegar and soysauce). The boys settled for Steam Shrimp while husband tried the Bistek Tagalog (BeefSteak). I really missed authentic filipino food and I’m glad we found that restaurant in Windsor.

We’re planning of going to Montreal these summer, hopefully everything push thru. We heard so many good things about the place and we can’t wait to see it for ourselves. I don’t need to shop for any good travel deals for an airfare because husband is thinking of we might just drive, that’s already a good deal there. Husband is good in reading maps, I try to learn but I still a long way to understand everything in map reading. geeesh…I get lost in our small town much more of big places.

Dream Vacation

—-Seems everyone are planning on where to spend their summer vacation. I wish we can afford to have my dream Orlando vacations, but unfortunately we have to wait for that, we might spend our whole summer here in Ontario,do some fishing and a few road trips. Besides that, Patrick is thinking of joining a summer camp but we are not sure yet what he want, he want to play soccer but I have to check all the requirements first and of course the price. My in-laws will be here on first week of May and we are already checking some nice place for them. We are so thankful for our warm weather now.

“Ride on the Plane. . .

. . .so we can go to Jasmin’s house” that was exactly what kendrick told me a few days ago, I don’t know what got into him, all of a sudden he asked me he want to go to the Philippines to see his cousin Jasmin, he talked about it as if they only live next town. Little did he know how much international travel insurance we need before we can afford another vacation in the Philippines. As much as I love to go but as of now, we have to wait for a few years before we can go back, I’m just hoping that they still understand and know how to speak tagalog by then although I don’t think it’s possible to unlearned the things they already learned especially that I talk to them in tagalog at home.

Summer Get-Away

—–We are thinking of going to North Carolina these summer to visit husband’s grandma, it’s really been a while since the last time we saw her. If my memory serves me right, it was back in 2004, it was also the first time I met her. She is already 90 years old but still with a sharp memory, whenever husband called her, she always asked about me and the boys, she lived in Hopemills, it was also husbands hometown where he grew up. I am checking the Wilmington NC real estate for some nice place to stay. Sometimes it’s way cheaper to rent an apartment or house for a week than staying at the hotel, at least you can still feel at home and cook your own food, besides, husband is familiar with the place so where’s not really a “tourist”. I just hope I can find the best place at least close to the beach.

—-Here’s more pictures I took last Monday, since Kendrick loves posing more than Patrick, most of the time he will call me and just tell me to take a picture of him in a certain spot where he stand up or strike a pose. I don’t know when he’s gonna be tired of me taking his pictures but I’ll enjoy it while I can. It wasn’t a long time ago when Patrick was exactly the same, but now he hates it, and instead he want to take a picture himself. Speaking of Patrick, he’s getting sensitive now on watching tv, he started covering his eyes when he saw a kissing scene or even just a simple kiss. He’s dad and Iare teasing him by kissing each other, of course we can only do the decent kiss and not the passionate one :mrgreen: .
