GT#51:Orange

Regardless of how much I searched my closet looking for any Orange stuff I owned, it’ll end up as a useless and futile effort because I don’t even remember having one.Thanks to my boys who took home this special edition of 3D glasses from our movie get away last night and it saves the day;

The Ciniplex have a special 3D glasses for kids,of course the grown up have to use the as usual,lousy black version. :)

OWM#34:A Warm Afternoon

Last week,we were blessed with a warm afternoon weekend and we took the opportunity to explored the new neigborhood. We were planning to do the same thing today, to take a walk along The River while hubby will do some fishing along the board walk, but looks like God have a different plan and He gave us a gloomy weather today instead. So I have decided,I will post our pictures from last week that I nver posted yet. My two boys playing with the water;

Another reason why sometimes,I want to believed that people are from :monkey: , because whenever my boys see something like this, they are always itching to climb it :D

I know I said it was a warm weather, but you see me here wearing a coat, well, it is warm for the boys but knowing me,I always feel cold :D

OWM#32 & PBW#19: It’s Ice Cream Day!!!

After having a gloomy weather for the past two days, today,the :sunny: was out. Since Kendrick was telling me about how much he like to eat a bubble gum ice cream, he was so happy when he saw the sun today, because according to him, It’s Ice Cream Day!!! :drink: :yes:

So,when we got there, he immediately order his ice cream, although his favorite is mint chocolate, he stick to his cravings for the bubble gum flavor.

Patrick asked for Cookies n’ Cream;

and eventhough I’m not so into yogurt, I got curious with their Banana Frozen yogurst and order one for myself;

While having our treats,we enjoy having a conversation about almost everything. My boys can comeup with a hundreds of questions from a simple cup of ice cream.Like ,why is it cold, why the shop is close during winter, why they call it ice cream, why the mint is green and the chocolate is brown and so on and so forth. If only I can give them one answer to satisfied their curious mind, I definitely would.

Anyway, as much as I’m not an ice cream person at all but I do love spending time with my boys. Because that’s where they tell me everything about their life in their own little world called “school” without me asking.And just like what kendrick said, a little bit of ice cream sometimes is healthy too :) :yes:

OWM#22:A Day At Chuck E. Cheese

We took the boys this afternoon at Chuck E Cheese. That was our promise to them but we have to put it on hold for a while and today we decided to give them a surprised.We thought that it’s about time because by Monday, it’s school time once again.

Patrick tried every single games there is while Kendrick choose very few but make sure he enjoys it. We got lucky because there was a birthday party too and the store mascott was there as a part of the party which after that he walk around the amusement area where we at. Here’s Patrick trying to shoot some hoops and hoping to get lots of tickets, :D

Actually it’s not only Chuckie, but my boys I think are the only kids that is not so amused with mascot, even with Jollibee and McDonald backhome, they always say no to a photo opt with any of those creature.

We didn’t even spend too much because we just bought a box of pizza and drinks and spend the 50 tokens that comes with it and the boys had a blast! :yes:

OWM#20:Snowed In

It snowed last night. It was so far the first snow of the season, although we had a few flurries a few days back that basically gone the next day, but last night was the first somewhat heavy snowfall. The snow is not thick enough for a sleigh, I bet even the Detroit river is not hard enough to turn it into a Skating Rink, the skaters need to wait for a while. As for the boys, as much as they are so itching to play outside, we can’t let them yet, Patrick was barking like crazy for a few nights letting them play outside will only aggravate it and we can’t afford to spend our christmas in a hospital. We told them not to worry because we know for sure that the snow will stay for a while. I’m just glad that it snowed just in time for their school breaks. It was quite late compare last year but I’m not complaining. Here’s the few pictures I took this morning, it’s our backyard,

even Molly can’t resist, it’s her first time to experienced it,

and remember only to eat the fresh snowfall not the yellow one. A friend from Georgia where very seldom to have a snow told me about how to make a snow cream, just scoop the fresh snow, add vanilla,milk and fruit juice and you can have the best snow cream ever!

PBW#12:Christmas Cards

After a long days of deliberation and debating about the question, to send or not to send, I finally made a decision that is indeed it’s about time to send all these cards to all who deserved it. So I took a box of cards that’s been sitting in one of our drawer for a long time, then took my glitter pen and started writing names. I know I waited too long to start sending them, but hopefully they can get it still on time for the holidays.

How about you? Are you done with all your holiday responsibilities?

OWM#19:Ornaments

As a part of our family’s own little tradition, we usually put up our tree a day after US Thanksgiving unlike in the Phils. that when the “ber” month hits the calendar,some people are already starting to put their xmas decorations. So last Saturday, we decided it’s time to put it up eventhough we didn’t shop for anything yet but hopefully Santa can give us something to open on Christmas eve. We don’t have a big tree since there’s no big space to place it. A little tree is enough to filled our house with the holiday spirit. Here’s few of my favorite ornaments;

As of this moment, the snow flurries are falling and I hope it’ll stay that way. I’m so happy to experienced a snow-free November for the first time after 8 yrs of living overseas but I know it’s impossible to have it this month :yes:

OWM#18:Lights By The River

Last Tuesday, we took the boys to the playground and at the King Navy Park, not to play though but to see the Christmas decoration that the town council put up for the season. They decorated it with lights of different colors and shapes that depict the holiday season.

OWM#17:Book Fair

Last Thursday, the boy’s school held their annual Book Fair sponsored by Scholastic Book Club. The boys are a member of this book club even before they started the school. I registered them when we were still in US and they send us books from time to time. The goal of the Fair is to encourage the kids to read. They are selling it for a lower price than usual, also the classroom where most of the students bought a book will recieved a book donation for their class.Here’s Kendrick;
