Yesterday was my mom’s 72nd birthday, that is if she didn’t passed away last January 05. It’s going to be her 40 days of death this coming Monday and I missed her terribly. It’s a different kind of miss when you know she’s only far away literally than being away forever. I want to dedicate this poem for her.

I Owe It All To Mother!

It’s your birthday, Mom.
So I will raise a cheer.
Without you, my special, loving mom,
I would not be here.Yes, I owe it all to you, Mom.
From the time that I was small,
You encouraged me in everything,
And tried not to let me fall.Throughout my life your caring,
Brightened each and every minute.
You loved me and enriched my life,
And I’m so glad to have you in it!

I can tell that even on her last breath that my mom is still thinking of us, her kids, because she didn’t leave us with any burdens of debt.  Her employment benefit take good care of everything.  When she was still alive, she make sure that she have all the documents she needs just in case. She is so organized with all her papers, all her government issue id’s are all intact.  When my sister start working on her papers to get her SSS benefits, everything work well because my mom prepare everything. I  you,Mom!
