—My entry for today’s OWM is still about our camping from last week, like I said, I took plenty of pictures and one post is not enough to share everything. But this time, it’s not about my boys, for a change, :D it’s all about the food we ate while we were there. I also take my time taking pictures of food, hoping that someday,I might learn how to prepare them. All this food was brought by other church member, I brought Pancit Bijon because that’s the only food I can cook :D on the first day, but I didn’t bring anything the next day anymore as everybody who just arrive that day brought something with them as well. It’s the common custom of pinoy expat, at least in US and now I know here too, that when you are invited to any party, you have to bring at least a food, not that the invitee expected you but that’s how it is, (unless you are kapalmuks like me. :) ), then when it’s time to go home, for sure you will take more than what you brought.Anywho, here’s the pictures of some of the food from the camp, I didn’t cook any of them but I eat a little bit of everything. :D

Can you tell by the way Kendrick looks at the food that he is ready to eat. :D . I was very proud of him actually because of his willingness to try all the new foods in front of him, he was even asking for a rice cake the next monday. By the way, I got lucky on that day since I was the one who live closer to the camp site and most of them don’t want to take home any of the food they’re brought, I was ended having lots of left over.

Wow sis, ang dami ng food! For sure everyone was busog.
Over here too, it’s our practice to bring food when being invited for a potluck or get together. I think that’s one of pinoy’s trademarks.
Thank you so much for playing this week ha!

Hi Willa, I see familiar dishes and they are delicious. I like that part of keeping the left overs. (Giggles). We don’t them go to waste.
Enjoy your weekend. Glad you joined us at OWM :-)
