As Christians, we do not  celebrate  the Halloween as we do believed that it is a celebration dedicated to evil spirits. Even before that I’m not that active in church yet. My boys, although I took them for Trick or Treat, I make sure that their costume is not one of those scary one. I know that for them, the celebration is only about candies and having fun, I know it’s not gonna be like that forever as they are growing and will gonna start asking questions, that’s why I’m glad that our church decided to have a celebration where the kids were asked to dress up but strictly No Creepy Looking costume allowed and we call it our Halleluja Night Party. What we did was, before we gave them the Treat, our Pastor tell the kids a bible-based story that is related to giving and having fun.

Christians, as other people think are always serious and holy is not always about that, we know how to have fun but at the same time,to Glorify God as well.

Here’s few pictures. Patrick dressed up as Iron Man while Kendrick was Transformer,we have Harry Potter,Karate Kid, Ninja,Spiderman and of course,Princes,

Even grown up join in the fun. We have St. Francis of Asissi,Queen Elizabeth,Clark Kent,Zorro

The kids tentatively listening to the story from our Pastor who by the way, also dressed up like…well…a Pastor :D

Here’s the yummy treat!
