I am so proud of my boys,(as I always am,anyway :) ). Until now they are still fluent with their tagalog althought I think Kendrick is getting there because he started talking to me now in tag-lish (combination of tagalog and english),just like in the Philippines before he completely talk to me in pure tagalog,and this time,it’s the other way around,but I hope he’ll keep understanding it.I still remember how some folks at the airport told me how cute they are because they definitely look like american kids because of their appearance but so surprised to hear them very fluent in tagalog,and we saw this all-filipino family with kids as well,the mom was like, “wow! I have a pure blooded filipino children but they don’t know how to speak my native language and you guys are so american looking,but yet you are so good at it.” :) I’ve never been so proud of them talking in my dialect since then.
