I just found out recently that there are three of us, Filipina, working in that company.  Although I’ve seen them and ate with them on the same table during my first few days,  but I thought they were Chinese because of their cheenky eyes. One day, the other one, whom I found out her name is Imelda, approached me in my workstation, and I was so surprised because she also knew my name. She asked me if I’m a Filipino, I said yes, that day,she was in the afternoon shift, and what a coincidence that she and hubby work on the same station. Later on, hubby told me that she asked him why I don’t talk too much,which he replied, that I’m just shy at first but once she get to know me, she’ll wish she never heard me talk, :lol:

The next day, she came a li’l bit earlier than her usual schedule because she have to go to the office and take care of something, we had a chance to chat a bit. We both found out that we have lots of things in common,we both have kids, that’s why most of the things we talked about is, well, our kids, from pregnancy,reducing stretch marks, getting rid of the post-preg weight,sleepless nights and all other things related to having kids.

Next week, she will be in my shift, hopefully we could work together. I’m just so happy to know that I’m not “alone” in that company, if you know what I mean. ;)
